Patrick Henry was one of the Founding Fathers of the American Revolution that fought against the British tyranny. In 1775 he delivered a famous speech at St. John's Henrico Parish Church in Richmond, known as "Give me freedom or give me death."

In his speech, Henry speaks to people and emphasizes that if they want to be free, they have to fight. Otherwise, they would be forever slaves. Evidence of this can be found in this speech: "For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery" and "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"
