    These companies are called multinational or transactional. They are companies that have a center in a country and have operations in several countries. They are usually big companies that set up subsidiaries in other countries in search of the consumer market, energy, raw materials and cheap labor.

    Examples of multinationals include IBM (United States), Volkswagen (Germany), Fiat (Italy), General Motors (USA), Toyota (Japan), Nokia (Finland), Nestlé (Switzerland), Sony Siemens (Germany), Dell (United States), Peugeot (France), among others.
