He is famous for being part of the gang known as the Wild Bunch, alongside Harvey Logan and notorious train and bank robber, Butch Cassidy, who also served as leader of the gang.

George Curry saved his men's horses by arresting the train engineer and taking the train to water for the horses to graze.
