Answer: The consolidated New England colony James II created

Explanation: Dominion was a merging of the existing English colonies in New England created by King James II, with the aim of consolidating the British administration in colonies and creating an one large colony. Dominion was formed in 1686, and the goal was also the easier defense of the colonies from the Indians. The created mega-colony consisted of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Two years later, more precisely in 1688, New York and New Jersey also entered Dominion.
