Was the Texas Revolution a blatant land grab started by the Texians to take the land from Mexico?

    Not really Santa had lost control over Texas and looked at them as people invading Mexican territory so he started a revolution (more) like a massacre, Texans got mad and decided to become a republic. years later Texas decided to become part of the United states.
