Even though Russia's most notable river, the Volga River, flows into the Caspian Sea, the majority of its longest rivers and basins run through the extensive siberian territory and into the Arctic sea, the country's northermost frontier. Among them we can count the Ob, Yenisei, Taz, Olenyok and Lena rivers.
