How did the platt amendment differ from the the teller amendment

The Platt Amendment stipulated seven conditions to remove troops that were in Cuba at the end of the Spanish-American War. The Teller Amendment just placed one condition over Cuba. The Teller Amendment proclaimed that the US would not establish control over Cuba. The Platt amendment, that came later, on the other way allowed the US to intervene for the preservation of Cuba's independence.
