The good things that Nixon does not outweigh the scandal by any means. He lied, he cheated, he betrayed the confidence of the American people. He made controversial decisions about the Vietnam war. Americans had to take the streets to march and organized demonstrations to protest. The American people questioned US participation in Vietnam and demanded the federal government to bring the troops back home. That is why I would grade him wit a "D."
