    That no matter what other may think or say, he was filling to fight to the very end for liberty, and if he was not granted his freedom, he would rather die.

    He wanted to let people know that he would rather die for his country than being a person without freedom

    When Patrick Henry says "give me liberty or give me death" he is referring to fighting for the colonies freedom. henry is saying that he would rather die fighting for that freedom than to be under king's rule.
