Name two ways that Andrew Johnson's plan for Reconstruction was the same as that proposed by Abraham Lincoln? Tell two ways that Johnson's plan differed from Lincoln's.

    Abraham Lincoln was a predecessor of Johnson. It is noteworthy that Andrew Johnson's plan for reconstruction was similar to that of his predecessor in this two:

    His idea were also on principle that each state had the right to decide the best type of Reconstruction plan for itself. He also suggested establishing a colony for freed black slaves in another country.

    However his plans differ in this two ways;

    In the reconstruction plan he offered no pardons to Confederate officials and persons owning property valued in excess of $20,000. Also, every state needed to abolish slavery before being readmitted.
