All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

    Explanation:

"Bicameral" refers to a legislative body having two chambers. The first lines of Article I of the U. S, Constitution establishes that two chambers should compose the national legislature of the United States: the House of Representatives (the lower house) and the Senate (the upper house), therefore the Congress is bicameral. With this structure, the chambers can check each other, and the bills must be approved by both before they are sent for Presidential approval.
