Under the Articles of Confederation, how did Congress get any money it needed?

It had to ask the states for money.

It could tax the people directly.

It had to raise its own money without taxation.

    The articles of confederation allowed for federal funds to be raised by state legislatures. These funds were based on proportion to the real property values of each individual state.
