What new ideas about economics and society were fostered as a result of the industrial revolution

    The industrial revolution implemented new working structures and systems. Workers were underpaid while working exhaustively, leading the creation of minimum wages and decent working conditions. With the industrial expansion, the proletarian class grew exponentially, promoting the birth of this huge economical class and all their social influence. During this period some concepts such as utilitarianism and socialism were born.
