    The US policymakers stimulated the economy and integrated the trans-Mississippi West into the nation with the transcontinental railroad that created more jobs and money to the nation. This pushed the growth of Mississippi with trade and tourism, San Francisco increased imports from 7.4 to 49 million dollars.

    But the impact was huge in the natives, it was no peaceful, some people were forced to go out of their living places to make room for railroads and the progress that came with it, they were rejected so international investors had favorable conditions.
