Answer: Ten amendments

Explanation: The first 10 amendments to the Constitution make up the Bill of Rights. The House approved 17 amendments. The Bill of Rights had ten amendments. Out of the twenty seven which are part of the constitution since they were ratified by the required number of states, only the first ten which were adopted made up the bill of rights.
