    Explanation:

The state of Israel was proclaimed in 1948, as an independent and secular state in the Middle East.

Shortly after its creation, the Arab world wanted to eliminate the state of Israel, for it considered it a colonial intromission in the zone.

The state of Israel was supported mainly by the US and the British, who also profited from having an ally in the region. A great amount of trade and cooperation in economic and scientific terms came as a result of its foundation.

During the Cold war, the USSR was concerned in supplying the Arab neighbours with military and scientific capabilities as well.

Most of the conflicts in the region with Israel were the result of proxy wars.

Since Israel turned victorious in the ongoing conflicts, it began to seize increasingly more amount of land than it originally was given.

This has alerted the international community, exposing human rights violations to the Palestinians.

The state of Israel was created in 1948, after the British and American government had promised the survivors of the Holocaust to bring the Jewish people back to their "promised land". The problem lies on the fact that this promised land was already populated by the Palestinian Arabs. This creation of a new nation within an already populated territory has led to conflict between the Israelis, who had been given the land, and the Palestinians, who already lived there.
