How did the United States try to punish Japan for its seizure of French Indo-China?

    As a response to Japan's invasion of French Indochina, the United States "D. froze all of Japan's financial assets in the United States," since it was thought that this would put enough pressure on the Japanese to release their "grip" on the region.
