Adolf Hitler rose to power by promising to fix the errors of the Treaty of Versailles and bring the German people out of the Great Depression. His supporting party "silenced" any main political opposers and eventually he took reign of Germany. The new ideology was Nazism and almost immediately began preparing for war.

Because he won the election and gave people false information of what he would do when he became dictator and took over other nations
