    The school navigation of Prince Henry was established in Sagrés, Portugal in XIV century. This school provided training for sea-exploring and map-making. They started exploring westward and southward Portuguese coasts. The main area of exploration was the Northwest coast of Africa. One of the members of the school, Gil Eanes, discovered Cape Borjador in 1434.
