    Answer: Most Jewish prisoners were emaciated and in poor physical and mental health. Most survivors had lost most of their family members and real property. Life in the camps was harsh and unrelenting. Many survivors were faced to emigrated either to Israel or Western Europe, Most were deeply distrustful of German society.

    Explanation: The Holocaust was one of the most horrific events in modern history. It led to the extermination of more than six million Jews.
