Explain how franklin d. roosevelt and his new deal reformed the american economic system

The New Deal restored the American economy through a massive infusion of money by the federal government. Based on the theories of John Maynard Keynes, it was termed priming the pump. It led to the creation of the welfare state and provided a number of agencies designed to put people back to work.
