    In the poem "Landing of the Pilgrim Fathers in New England" the poet Felicia Hermans speaks of the voyage the pilgrims' faces to go to New England. As we all know the Pilgrims ran away to New England looking for freedom of religion because they were persecuted because of their religious beliefs in the UK. They face many difficulties such as the cold in the first winter and facing a new lifestyle, many of them died from pneumonia and starvation.
