It ended the last vestiges of feudalism in Western and Central Europe. It also spread Enlightenment ideas across Europe. And it reshaped the border of Europe.

Answer: French revolution ended with traditional society, i. e. divine right of kings, absolutism etc. French revolution introduced in practice civil rights and constitutionalism. It also initiated romantic notion of nation.
Explanation: French revolution was a result of deeply felt pressured in French society but expressed also problems that existed in other European states. Subjects got transformed in citizens, i. e. people become subjects of the law, they have their rights (human rights and civil rights). This is how modern society was born. Powers of the government are limited, there are no absolute rulers.
