Was slavery in the United States a paradox
7 March, 02:32
Slavery in the United States was a paradox because the Constitution states that all men are created equal, yet the same document allowed for slavery. It even specified that a slave was only to be counted as three fifths of a person.
This situation may also be described as hypocrisy.
