    The Hittites and others migrated from Central Asia to Mesopotamia they were enlarging their empire.

    The Hittites constituted an ancient people who lived in Anatolia, which is currently known as Turkey. Their capital city was Hattusa, in north-central Anatolia around 1600 BC.

    This population migrated into Asia Minor and built their capital in the highlands.

    The Hittite built two kingdoms:

    The Old Kingdom (1700-1500 BCE)

    The New Kingdom, also known as the Hittite Empire
