    The men supported the war by drafting as the soldiers and the women contributed in maintaining the states' economic operation.

    Explanation:

    Before the war, men totally control and operate all sectors of economic operation in the country. After the men were drafted, women had the chance to show up and proof that they handle the economic operation while the men gone. This situation later on proof that women just as capable in joining the workforce and fuel the women rights movement for the next generation.
