    The French and Indian war took place between 1754 and 1763. It had three important leaders:

    George Washington

    Edward Braddock

    William Pitt, the Elder

    But all these three men failed in accomplishing to win the conflict. William Pitt, the Elder, was the one who almost won the war, but was forced to resign before its conclusion.
