Who was Adolf Hitler and why was he significant in World History?

    Adolf Hitler was the leader of the German Nazi Party, he was considered a notorious dictator of the 20th century. He rose to power as the chancellor of Germany and then became the Führer. During his time of dictatorship he initiated World War II in Europe. He was known for his involvement in military operations and was the one who started the hate against the Jewish population in Germany. Hitler was significant in history because he was the main reason for the Holocaust happening. The holocaust was the liquidation and extermination of Jews, as they were seen as an inferior race and the sole reason Germany was going down as a country. He used his power to orchestrate the death of 6 million Jews. Under his dictatorship cruelty and power hungry flourished.
