    Women had no voice, representativity or rights in many social and political spheres and the only way they could change it was getting more active participating in the early reform movements.

    Explanation:

    The main reason women wanting to be active in early reform movements was that they did not have the same rights as men. To gain this rights and change some differences between gender the women need representativity and to be heard, this could only be achieved with them getting active in the reform movements.
