    Radical reconstruction is the period after the civil war when attempts were made to address problems like inequalities that faced the american people swiftly. The Republicans plan was labelled as Radical because of their believe that confederate leaders should be punished for their role in the war

    Radical reconstruction is the period of reconstructing America after the devastating effect of the civil war, the reconstruction lasted from 1863 to 1877.

    The issues that were strongly addressed and was championed by the Republicans was the attempt and believe that blacks are supposed to have equal political rights and opportunities as the whites have and also the punishment of the confederate leaders for their roles in the civil war. the issue of integrating the 11 states that seceded away back to the Union was also a great part of the reconstruction efforts. while issues surrounding slavery as if affects the economic and financial of the country was as well part of the reconstruction efforts
