Answer: Marx formulated Communism as a theory (of a new type of society). Word Communism can be understood as 1) doctrine, philosophy, theory, 2) movement (national, international) and 3) regime. Marx experienced 1 and 2 but not 3. According to his theory Marx believed Communism would be "the end of history" ... the final, i. e. perfect stage of human history (perfect example of a linear view of history), which means it would replace all the previous (imperfect) stages of history (where people were "evil" to each other).
Explanation: Marx believed (as J-J Rousseau did) that evil resides in society, in the way it is structured. He did not belive that evil resides in men themselves. Freud, Jung, Adler and others corrected that later.
