things that expanded in the industrial revolution would be. the rail roads trough out the country as more goods and raw materials were needed. the expansion of city's in the north as lots of factory were located in the north causing people to immigrate there of move there looking for work. also is the expansion to the west as people moved to start new lives or expand the nation to the wild west were a gold boom was occurring with many moving there in hopes of riches.
