Where tobacco farmers immoral when they contracted indentured servants? what about slaves?

    No, they weren't immoral as the indentured servants needed a way to pay off debt and were willingly conscripted. As for slaves, it's considered immorality only if a) the buyer knowingly bought the slaves from slave ships with terrible conditions or b) didn't allow them any rights or pay.
