    Declaration of Sentiments. The Declaration of Sentiments was the Seneca Falls Convention's manifesto that described women's grievances and demands. Written primarily by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, it called on women to fight for their constitutionally guaranteed right to equality as US citizens.
