What was the result of the thirty years war

The Thirty Years War was the result of a religious conflict beginning in the early 1,600s. The protestants and the Roman Catholics in Germany had differing views which caused a divide between them. Eventually as these small disputes spiraled into larger conflicts war inevitably broke out between the two sides.
