At first, the Battle of the Bulge resulted in some benefits for the Germans but in the end, they couldn't contend the Allied forces.

    This battle took place on from December 16, 1945 to January 16, 1945. This episode of World War Two is also known as the Ardennes Offensive. It is considered as the largest battle ever fought by the United States Army. By the winter of 1944, Nazi Germany's situation was very bad. Soviet troops were just around the corner of the Fatherland. Adolf Hitler intended to launch an attack through the dense Ardennes Forest. It was a total disaster. The Germans lost over 100,000 men, 700 tanks and 1,600 planes, losses they could never replace.
