i think the Puritans were wrong

Religions should be private and every persons should be able to follow the religions that they personally believed in.

The puritans, want to spread the idea of the church into politics and actually make religious teachings into a law. They hunted people who refuse to believe in their religion and conduct inhumane treatments toward them.
