    Traditionally Buddha is seen as having 32 main characteristics and 80 secondary characteristics, which should be reflected in all iconic representations. Examples of some of the main chatacteristics are: long and slender fingers, body erect.

    Buddha is always shown as peaceful and wise, and yet with great strength and power. He always appears both human-like and divine. The Buddha almost always has stretched ear-loads. The Buddha's hair and headpiece is always a top his head, in a bun style.
