What difficulties might result if each State were not required to give full faith and credit to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of other States? Provide at least two examples to support your conclusion.

    Under Article IV, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, States have to respect all public records, acts, and judicial proceedings.

    Thus we can conclude that this is done to ensure that states respect and honor each other state laws and court orders.

    Were a State not required to uphold this Article, it would result in:

    States not enforcing clear actions and orders given by the courts of another state of law. A State indirectly imposing its own legislation on every other state.
