Bush v. Gore was a decision of the US Supreme Court enacted in 2000, in order to end a dispute related to the vote recount in presidential election in 2000 in Florida.

The court considered that the Equal Protection Clause was violated because different counting standards were used in the different counties, favouring either one or the other candidate.
