Were world war 1 and world war 2 really just one long extended war?

    i don't really think so. some factors ended up coinciding, like hitler's nationalism (i think that's the word), and his patriotism, but at the root, they were caused by very different things. the cold war and world war 2 were one long war in my opinion, but not world wars 1 and 2

    Dang, if you put it like that, then in my opinion, yes. I think (now) that it was a very long war because problems weren't settled until even after the Cold War showed up. : -)
