What change was often seen in the physical arrangement of plantations after the Civil War?

The land was divided into smaller plots with housing for sharecroppers.

They increased in size and added more housing for slaves.

Slave quarters were destroyed and all housing became concentrated near the main house.

They were divided in half with half of the land being given to the former slaves.

    The answer would be A. The land was divided into smaller plots with housing for sharecroppers because after the war slavery was outlawed so former slaves only knew how to farm and in order to get income they went back to plantations as sharecroppers.

    Sharecroppers were people who rented out housing and tools with a share of their crops in order to live.
