    In history its happen many times In the 18th century the British coerced China to Open their markets through narco-trafficking opium from India. In the 19th century the US coerced Japan to Open its self-imposed isolation policy to US merchants and merchandise under threat of war. Generally the Open Door Policy is forced by Governments who want their wealthy Individuals and Corporations to operate within an country in a Capitalistic manner. Generally gaining control of a countries natural resources and mean of production.
