    There are many different views to why the Great Peasants Revolt came about. Here are a couple of the goals: The farmers were concerned about protecting their social, economic and legal gains, wanting to leave the serfdom system, having been influenced by Luther's work which mentioned social equality and wanted more class autonomy.
