In 1820, more than twelve times as many people lived in ohio as had lived there in 1800. What is one reason the population of ohio might have grown so much during that time period?

    The reason for Ohio population grew that time was because the state disallowed slavery, it was also open to trade. It became an industrial state and also became an area for Native Americans to live. The place was an active area for living and family raising.
