Why didn't Congress approve of the U. S. membership in the League of Nations after World War I

    Woodrow wilson wantd the US to enter the league of nations. unfortunately, it was on congress to decide. congress has better things to do and were opposed to joining. yes it was a mistake. the league of nations would have been successful if the US had joined.
