What effect did the native americans' use of surprise attacks have on the seminole wars?

    The affect of surprise was that the natives Americans enemy wouldn't have time to prepare so the losses/casualties for the enemy would be heavy, also using the element of surprise would also most likely scare enemy soldiers, and they would be distracted and confused as well.
