How are newtons laws used to describe the motion of plants?

    The second law of motion describes what happens to to a large body when it is acted upon by an external force. That force being gravity / the pull of gravity. It also says the force acting on an object is equal to the mass of the object times the acceleration. The third law also states, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.
