Why did rhode island refuse to send a delegate to the constitutional convention? what did the delegates have in common

    Its not that rhode island refused its that rhode island did not get involved in anything pertaining to the other colonies, if rhode island had its way it would've been an independant country. and all of the delegates where aristocratic white colonial elites. most of them were likely veterans of the revolutionary war or the 7 years war
