Life in Texas changed in the early 1900s. In Rural Texas, Silent Movies, and Radio became significant portions of the culture. The economy grew and few people relished enhanced lives. Farmers had problems because most of them did not own their own land. They started to use machinery to bring out more of their activity. The machines were expensive. To purchase the machines, the farmers need to lend money. Then the food cost down. This results in farmers who cannot afford to pay off their debts.

On the other hand in Urban Texas, cities were increasing rapidly. Houston was the state’s primary harbor. Dallas became a developed center that mostly produces Textiles. The development of cities headed to a bigger need for Infrastructures, Utilities, and other Facilities. Women had added job openings than earlier. Individuals had gained many relaxation times. Due to the improvements and developments, that reduced work-time.
